Create your own beautiful handcrafted pendant while learning the traditional jewellery-making skill of saw piercing.

In this friendly, hands-on workshop you’ll discover how to transform sheet copper and sterling silver into a unique pendants using a jeweller’s piercing saw. You’ll learn how to transfer a design, safely use specialist tools, cut intricate shapes, refine and finish your piece, and add the finishing touches to create a pendant you’ll be proud to wear or give as a gift.

Whether you choose a simple silhouette or a more detailed pattern, you’ll be guided step by step throughout the process in a relaxed and supportive environment. No previous jewellery-making experience is needed—this workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking to develop their metalworking skills.

During the workshop you’ll:

• Learn the fundamentals of saw piercing.
• Practise accurate cutting techniques with a jeweller’s saw.
• Shape, file, smooth and polish your pendant.
• Work with both copper and sterling silver.
• Leave with 2 finished handmade pendants and the confidence to continue exploring this rewarding craft.
