We offer three exciting settings for you to complete your Level 3 Award in Education and Training, all set in a beautiful Shropshire Hills environment.

Life Long Learning Sector - A course allowing you the chance to learn and practice delivering classroom based lessons within a positive and encouraging environment. You do not need any previous qualifications to attend this course. This is perfect if you are wanting to deliver craft, art & design workshops and courses.

You can complete the course on its own if you are confident in the skills required to teach your chosen discipline. If you would like to enhance your skills on an advanced skills course before the L3AET please see the wide variety of other courses and workshops available or message to discuss your needs.

Duration: 5 days

Description: This qualification provides an introduction to teaching in the life-long learning sector. It is ideal for those already teaching with no formal qualifications or those looking to enter the post-16 education sector. This qualification is the bench mark qualification when starting to teach in adult education. Covering the principles of inclusive teaching and assessment, this is the ideal first step qualification to enhance your skills or change career. The QNUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) is a replacement for the commonly titled qualification “Preparing to teaching in the Lifelong learning sector” or “PTLLS”.

Outdoor Activities - Bring your current skills and qualifications to learn and develop your instructional techniques using your chosen outdoor activity specialism. You do not need any previous outdoor qualifications to attend this course but must be personally proficient in your chosen outdoor activity specialism.

First Aid Instructor - Using your current skills and qualifications to learn and develop your instructional techniques within first aid training course delivery. You will leave with a relevant teaching qualification, observations and further first aid industry knowledge, giving you a step up towards delivering your own courses. You are required to provide a first aid qualification (or higher) that is must still in date by the end of the L3 AET course.
